David Britt was born October 1st 1975 and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1998 where he played tennis for the Tarheels. David started playing violin at age 3 and started singing in the church choir a few years later. He always loved music and had dreams of wanting to write and sing his whole life, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that he actually started, and realized his calling was to be a singer/songwriter. He was working as a commercial real estate broker, but still couldn’t get music out of his mind. As most artists will tell you, in order to start writing there is always a catalyst, especially in country music. One usually goes through some kind of life changing event before writing their first note. Love found, love lost, heart break etc. You could say David had some of that for sure, and in turn, it got him into writing music-- currently 600+ songs to date. In 2012 David released his first album self-titled "David Britt." After that release and several more singles, David signed a record deal with Spectra Music Group in May of 2014. They are releasing David's second album "Country Flow" February 10th. "To Hell With Your Love" which was the first single released off the album has done extremely well and is a classic hard core country break up song. This along with the other 11 songs on the album are a unique blend of classic and modern pop country.

Coach Robert Cagle serves as the National Director of Scouting and Recruiting/Expansion and Development for National Scouting Report. He joins us for a show dedicated to the recruiting process for college football. Coach Cagle has dedicated his life to helping young people achieve their personal, athletic, academic and spiritual goals and has been a part of the sports community for over 35 years. His combination of athletic talent and excellence in the classroom made Robert one of the top college prospects in the state and in the South.
After his senior football season, Robert signed his National Letter of Intent and football scholarship with The University of Mississippi ( OLE MISS). After his senior season of baseball in high school, he was approached by the Cincinnati Reds who wanted to draft Robert. He declined their offer and honored his commitment to OLE MISS and his dream of playing football. He began his career at Ole Miss in August 1986.
At Ole Miss, Robert was named to the All-Southeastern Conference Freshmen Football team. He was twice named to the ALL SEC Academic Team in football. Robert was finally named to the OLE MISS Academic Football Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on the football field and in the classroom. He was consistently on the Dean’s List for academic achievements in the classroom. Robert’s aspirations and hopes to play professional sports was brought to an abrupt end during his 3rd year at OLE MISS when he received a career ending back injury during practice. Robert remained on scholarship serving as a recruiter and assistant to the Athletic department until he graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in May 1990.
